Bringing migrant workers' stories to a regional stage

The opportunity

A platform beyond Thailand

The YSEALI Seeds for the Future program brings together young social entrepreneurs from across Southeast Asia who have led meaningful community projects. Sabai Job was selected to participate following the successful implementation of the Lat Twal program, which reached over 40,000 Myanmar migrant workers through safety education and in-person workshops.

The Jakarta showcase was an invitation to bring that work to a regional stage.

Beyond the stage

Standing at ASEAN and thinking bigger

The Jakarta trip was more than a showcase. It was a reminder that the challenges facing Myanmar migrant workers in Thailand are part of a broader regional picture of migration, labour rights, and the search for dignity across Southeast Asia.

Visiting the ASEAN Secretariat was a moment of reflection on the scale of the problem and the opportunity ahead.

β€œThe stories of migrant workers deserve to be heard β€” not just in Thailand, but across the entire region.”
What this moment meant

A local project. A regional voice.

Presenting at YSEALI was validation that the work being done for Myanmar migrant workers matters beyond Thailand. Hearing from other young leaders across Vietnam, the Philippines, Cambodia, and Indonesia reminded us we are not alone in this mission.
